Local Chapters

Local is king! Some of the best connections can be made over a cup of coffee or a beer. In which local chapter would you like to network with other Marines? If you're already in a chapter, this will serve as confirmation that you're still active.

The Business Directory

The business directory is primarily "Consumer-Focused" The goal is to get your listing in front of as many consumers as possible as they search for products and services you provide. We are all consumers of local products and services, even if our professional life is focused more on business-to-business. Even if your business is more focused on Business-to-Business, its a great idea to list your business so you can be found.

Is this for Marines Only?

This directory is for Marines and ‘Green Side’ Navy Corpsmen only.  For other veterans, please see our sister directory https://VeteransDoingBusiness.com

Is ownership of the business required?

No!  You do not need to own the business to participate.  Marines who are employed by large or publicly traded companies are welcome to join us.  We do ask that when your connection to that business ends, please remove your listing and replace it with your current venture

I am/was a Reservist, can I participate?

Yes, once you earned your Eagle, Globe & Anchor, you became eligible to participate.  Your legal veteran status is irrelevant.

I'm a dependent, and my husband and I are a GUNNERY SERGEANT, where do I post my LuLaRoe spanx?

What if I own multiple businesses?

Congratulations Serial Entrepreneur!  Each business will need its own separate listing

Is it free?

Yes, we have free and paid levels.  We are a 501(c)(3) Non Profit organization.  Paid levels help us keep the directory up to date and reach more Marines.

Are there any Business Restrictions

These are some examples of listings that are best left on Craigslist…

  • Any illegal activity or goods

  • Betting, including lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, Fantasy Football, off-track betting, and wagers at races

  • Adult entertainment oriented products or services (in any medium, including Internet, telephone or printed material)

  • Drug paraphernalia

  • Occult materials

  • Hateful or racist products

  • Escort services

Do I need to be a member of the National Marine Corps Business Network to participate?

We’ve made it easy.  When you list your business in the directory, you’re joining the network at the same time.  Join us!

Will this directory help me find a job?

Yes.  While this directory is primarily for Marine Owned/Connected businesses to connect with consumers and other businesses.  We have included a flag for businesses to indicate that they’re hiring. You can use that flag to filter your search results, reach out to those businesses and discuss what options are available. However, this is not a job site.  We recommend using our LinkedIN group for job seeking activities.  Once you join the Network by completing the form on this page, you’ll receive an email with a link to join our LinkedIN and Facebook groups

Can I advertise my MLM business?

Yes and no.  You are free to showcase your products and services.  However, trying to recruit others might result in you getting your feelings hurt.
